Born from a passion for design and the belief that creativity transforms experiences, DRAFT was founded on the idea that design is more than aesthetics—it shapes how we live, think, and interact. As an Interior Designer, I saw firsthand how spaces influence our daily lives. That vision drives DRAFT: a place where creativity, coffee, and community seamlessly come together.
As we evolve, DRAFT continues to meet our community wherever they are. Whether through Book A Space, Retail Corner, café catering, mobile café experiences, community events, or bespoke collaborations, we’re committed to being at the heart of our city’s creative and cultural landscape.

Draft Bold Beginnings, One Sip at a Time
Draft Café began in 2017 with a simple but ambitious goal: to create a space where people could study, hold meetings, or relax with a good book. More than just a coffee shop, Draft is a space where ideas come to life, be it drafting a business plan, a creative project, or finding a place to socialize and dream big.
Founded by Wadha Alrashid, a Saudi entrepreneur and interior architect, Draft is proudly local and deeply connected to Riyadh’s evolving landscape. As Saudi Arabia has embraced change and growth, Draft has evolved alongside it, offering spaces for community meetups, book clubs, business workshops, and celebrations.
We’ve observed a rising demand for flexible spaces that foster collaboration, creativity, and connection, and we’re now responding by expanding our offerings to meet these needs.
Beyond our physical locations, we’ve introduced delivery services, a coffee truck, and customizable catering to bring the Draft experience directly to our customers throughout Riyadh. Our commitment to agility ensures we remain part of the Kingdom’s transformation, offering services that resonate with its vibrant, dynamic population.

The Coffee
Choosing to use only the highest quality of Arabica coffee, known for its refined flavor that only grows at high altitudes, this coffee bean has a special flavor which grows fully for a great city and espresso roast.
Our single-origin coffee beans range from different countries including Brazil, Guatemala, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, and Columbia.
From Single-Origin Coffee to Draft Cafe’s Special Blend and finally to our different Dark Roast Blends, we are very keen on providing our customers with the best flavors directly from our tasting room! Whatever the case, each Draft Cafe® blend offers a cup of coffee that no single-origin coffee can duplicate.
We are committed to using our influence to promote responsible and sustainable agricultural practices that benefit both the farmers and the environment. We work with a network of exporters, coffee producers and suppliers who purchase coffee from origin countries. Our goal is to work with business partners who embrace our commitment to quality coffee, quality of work life and protection of the environment.
